Web Design : C.R.A.P. Design

This week we are taught what are the principles of web designing , so in what I have learned there are 4 principles needed in web designing , which is the C.R.A.P.  . Here are those :

Contrast - Contrast is the difference between two or more elements. With contrast, a designer can create visual interest and direct the attention of the user. But imagine if all of the elements on a web page were the same in style and appearance. There would be no organization, no flow, and definitely no hierarchy. Content would be nearly impossible to digest. This makes contrast an essential part of effective web design..

Repetition Giving the user a sense of familiarity isn’t the only good use for repetition though, it is also used to help control where the viewers eyes go and it allows you to direct them to certain aspects of the design in a way that allows you to have control over what the user does in your web site or magazine. For instance, if you have a business card with big bold company name and in the same style of big bold you have the phone number you are going to make your viewers eyes move back and forth between the company name and phone numbers giving you the two most important pieces of information that you are looking for when you are holding a business card.
One of the other major reasons for using repetition in your designs is that it adds consistency to the web page or document, in a way that brings the whole design together enough to make it seem completed. With just the right repetition an amateurish design turns into a professional design ready to be seen by the world.

Alignment - Alignment is another way of creating associations between visual elements, which help users quickly understand the relationships of objects on a page.
Alignment works by visually associating a number of elements. When you see a number of aligned elements, you instinctively believe that those elements are peers of each other, or share some other common property.
This is a really useful tool for quickly letting a user know what they’re looking at by instantly spotting relationships between different elements.

Proximity - The principle of proximity calls for related items to be grouped visually, creating less clutter and making for a more organized layout. Items unrelated to each other should be placed further apart, to emphasize their lack of relationship.

What I Have Learned from My Computer Subject ?

What I have learned from my computer subject ? Well there are so many things I have learned from my computer including HTML documents , tags , elements and much more . Let's just define them .

Let's start with HTML or "Hypertext Mark-up Language" , is called as the basic building-blocks . It is written in hte form of of consisiting of tags , enclosed  in angle brackets     (like <html>).

This tags are in pair called the start tag and the end tag (they are also called opening and closing tags ). In between these tags  we can add texts , tables , images and many more. The new version also of the HTML is stricter and cleaner , which is the XHTML . Some basic parts of an HTML are head , title , body , <p> for paragraphs and <br /> which serves as an "Enter" for document spacing.

<!DOCTYPE> is technically not a tag , it sould be the first thing in in your document . The <!DOCTYPE> tells the browser what version of HTML  you are writing in .
With these simple basic elements I was able to learn to make a webpage with tags and elements accompaniment .

K-12 in the Philippines : A Reform or Deform ?

Did you ever noticed the low literacy rate of our country ? That in all of the countries on the whole world , Philippines have the least number of years spent on school following Bhutan and Nepal which have eleven years spent on school. That's why the Department of Education (DepEd) , together with our President P-Noy propose a bill regarding to the additional two more years for elementary and secondary level.

This proposal is part of P-noy's Educational Reform Program. The administration asserts that with the implementation of such program, the problem of unemployment in the country will be resolved. In as much as employment in the Philippines is concerned, the K12 education also responds to the fact that most countries in the world already have the same plan in their educational institutions. With this, the standards of these countries go a notch higher than what the country has, thus, creating an expansion in the global competency.

While the reaction of the public is divided, where some are in favor and some
are not, here are several issues that point out to the aggression of opposing groups
especially the parents to this program. One of the main problems in the Philippines
which the government needs to resolve is the lack of school and classrooms in the
different parts of the country. It is important that students stay in a place that is
conducive for study while they are away from home. In addition, with teachers go
abroad to teach, or do another job, there is already a shortage of educators in
schools that mold the minds of learners. And this deficiency has become a problem
for the country in the past several years. Finally, there is a need for students to
utilize the appropriate instructional materials and school equipment for them to
learn and gain the necessary knowledge in school. This lack of accessibility in books
and other school supplies clearly manifest the scarcity in the public schools in the
country.

☺ F*r*i*e*n*d*s ☺

                                                                ☺F*r*i*e*n*d*s☺

To whom do you go if you have any problem in the absence of your parents ? Have you ever wondered you are in place ALONE ? Well , if you think that's fun , then think again . If it does really happen , you will only have one destination , the MENTAL HOSPITAL because you don't have any buddies to talk with , just yourself . Just like in the quotation , "No man is an island" , which means nobody could ever live without a single buddy , even though you're rich . The persons I am referring to are our FRIENDS .
These special persons are gift from GOD , He sent them to accompany us in our life . They are special treasures that are needed to be kept and love.
Like most of the people I also have fiends , I think they are to many to be enumerated . They are very important to me, even though they are away from me I never lose contact on them . Everywhere I go I find friends and everywhere I go I think of them because they are special for me . That's why we should treasure our friends .
Again I'm Neil Irving Teovisio and I think I'm doing well in blogging thanks for all your support .

Me,Myself and I

Me , Myself and I

I am Christian Neil Irving Teovisio , living at 170 Sta.Isabel , Dinalupihan , Bataan.I was born on April 4 , 1997 in Philippine General  Hospital in Manila. My parents are Criselle Teovisio  and Crisanto Teovisio.

I am studying at Saint John Academy and I am on my third year.My class section is III-St.Mary Magdalene , actually it is the pilot section on the third year.Last year I am not in a pilot section  , but because of my hardwork I finally reached the pilot section.I don't actually want to be in a pilot section nor being the 1st honor in a class , I just want to be a regular student with regular dreams.I don't know what kind of luck comes in my life that even though I don't study hard when I am on my 2nd year , last year ,  I became the class' 1st honor !But at least I'm proud that I'm on a pilot section but just sometimes it is hard to go get along with some of my classmates because almost of them were girls!

Well , we will just forget about my school , Let’s talk about what are my hobbies.Well , some of my hobbies are sleeping, eating, surfing the internet and a little bit of reading and studying. When it comes to food , I am not a picky eater , I just don’t like vegetables especially bitter gourd.I don't hate many things in my life I just want to be alone.

I think I have written many about myself for this blog , actually this is the first time I wrote a a blog because I don’t know what it is and I am not usually in the mood for making this such blogs.Because I don't have any knowledge with this but for the sake of my own grades , maybe I should push myself to do it.I think this is the last for my blog , I hope I have written nice and great , THANK YOU . Goodbye =)
